SELF-SEALING TIRE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

A self-seal tire having a puncture seal layer applied to the entire inner wa ll face of the tire from one shoulder part to the other shoulder part of a pneumatic tire. The puncture seal layer comprises an adhesive layer of a material bonding to the inner wall face of the tire provided on the outer circumferential surface of an annular sponge layer impregnated with an adhesive material such that it is exposed to the outer circumferential surfa ce side. The puncture seal layer is pressure bonded to the inner wall face of t he tire by the restoring force of the sponge layer applied while being compress ed.
