COMBINED BOAT HULL AND PICKUP TRUCK BED COVER

A boat shell (10) that is adapted for engagement upon the sidewalls (38) of a pickup truck (14). Preferably, the boat shell (10) is formed with rectangula r side rails (34) that are sized and shaped to matingly cover the sidewalls (3 8) of the bed of a pickup truck (14). Engagement devices (200, 220, 240, 268) a re formed at a stern portion (58) and a bow portion (50) of the boat shell to securely yet removably engage the boat shell (10) to the pickup truck (14). Preferably, the tailgate (290) of the pickup truck (290) is operable with th e boat shell engaged upon the pickup truck. The boat shell (10) is formed with two boat hulls (22, 26) that are disposed in a side by side relationship and generally concave curved portion (80) of the boat shell joins the two boat hulls (22, 26) together, such that the boat shell (10) is of a single, integrally formed shape that is preferably composed of fiberglass.
