<p>It is intended to provide a false bait for fishing which is nondetrimental to the environment and imitates a living bait. This false bait is characterized by containing as the main components: (1) a protein having been crosslinked with a protein crosslinking enzyme; and one or both of members respectively selected from (2) water-insoluble polysaccharides; and (3) a group consisting of monosaccharides, oligosaccharides, starch syrup and dextrin. By using the above components as the active components, the viscosity of a liquid mixture of the components can be appropriately controlled during production. As a result, the handling properties in the production can be improved and the mixture can be easily degassed when a gas is bubbled into it.</p> |
