ASPHALT FOR FLOOR COVERINGS

The invention relates to an asphalt for floor coverings, which has an at least partially binder-free surface and which contains mineral substances with portions of grain sizes > 2 mm, portions of grain sizes ranging between 0.09 mm and 2 mm, and portions of grain sizes < 0.09 mm, as well as binders. The mineral substance mixture has 80 to 90 % by weight of portions with grain sizes > 2 mm, 6 to 16 % by weight of portions with grain sizes ranging from 0.09 mm to 2 mm, and 4 to 6 % by weight of portions of grain sizes < 0.09 mm, the portion of round grains (gravel) in the mineral substances having grain sizes > 2 mm being more than 80 % by weight. The invention also relates to a method for producing asphalts having a partially binder-free surface.
