A sealing, trimming or finishing strip (6) comprises a channel-shaped gripping portion (14) for embracingly gripping a flange (12), such as forming an edge of the frame of a motor vehicle body. A soft sealing portion (20) is mounted on the side wall of the gripping portion (14) so as to extend longitudinally along the outside of the frame and to be sealingly compressed by a closing door for the frame. The external surface of the gripping portion (14) is provided with a fabric or textile covering (34). The covering (34) is arranged with at least two integral portions (34A,34B) arranged end to end so as to extend along different parts of the frame, the two portions presenting respectively different appearances: for example, they may have different patterns and/or different colours. <IMAGE> |
