PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device quickly heating a seat face and correctly sensing a temperature of the seat face to appropriately control it. SOLUTION: The toilet seat device is provided with closet seat casings 24 and 25 having a built-in heater 26 and forming the seat face, a seat face temperature sensor 9 for sensing the temperature of the seat face and an energization control means 30 for controlling the energization of the heater 26 according to the temperature sensed by the sensor 9. Thereby the sensor 9 senses the temperature of the seat face, and based on the temperature sensed, the control means 30 controls the energization of the heater 26 built in the casings 24 and 25, allowing the temperature of the seat face to be sensed to be appropriately controlled.
