PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam-warmed towel whose temperature suitable for steamed towels is kept for a sufficient period of time. SOLUTION: The steam-warmed towel 10 is configured by housing a steam generating part 11 containing an oxidizable metal, water, an electrolyte, and an accelerant in a housing body 12. The weight ratio of the oxidizable metal/water is 0.1-10. The entire steam-warmed towel 10 shows a rigidity value of 0.01-10 N/width of 8 cm. The housing body 12 includes a first ventilating surface 13 located on the side close to a skin and a second ventilating surface 14 located on the side far from the skin. The steam generated by the part 11 is applied to the skin of a user through the first ventilating surface 13 to wet the skin while the side of the first ventilating surface 13 abuts on the skin of the user.
