PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mixed rearing of benthonic bivalve and creeping copepod, especially, Idya furcata (Baird). SOLUTION: The stable and mass rearing of the benthonic bivalves in a land aquarium for a long period is attained in mixed rearing of the benthonic bivalves and creeping copepod without contamination of the aquarium by using feed obtained from seaweed, for example Porphyra seaweed. The creeping copepod proliferated in the rearing aquarium for benthonic bivalves is collected, and massively reared by the feed and used as biological feed for producing seedlings of fishes or crustaceans.
