A thermoelement comprising a frame (2) with a flexible sheet (9a,b) on either side for covering the opening defined by the frame (2). On either side of the frame is made at least one circumferential locking groove (5a,b;6a,b) and at least one locking list (7a,b;8a,b) for fastening the sheets (9a,b) in the locking groove (5a,b;6a,b). The thermoelements are inexpensive and easy to manufacture and they are suitable for temporarily closing wall openings in buildings being built or renovated and also for quickly and easily constructing tents or houses in e.g. refugee camps.
