The device is designed as a lid (10) with an inner thread to be joined to the neck of a standard bottle (40). A pointed tip, attached to the upper surface of the lid (10) can be inserted into the compost. The amount of water released into the flower pot can be adjusted with a rotating button (20), acting on an air inlet connected to a tube (30), inserted into the bottle (40), when the lid (10) is joined.
