FIELD: plastic working of metals. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes rolling stand with gap between two drive rolls. Possibility for reducing grain size and closing pores formed in metal at casting is provided due to such structure of apparatus that allows roll between rolls metallic slabs, sheet or strip fed by angle 5 - 45° relative to line normal to plane through which central axes of rolls pass or between rolls having different circumferential speeds with difference between them no less than 5% and no more than 100% at condition that rolling of metallic slabs, sheet or strip is performed at the same shear along their thickness. Metallic slabs, sheet or strip produced by means of apparatus according to invention with the same shear along their thickness may be made of aluminum, steel, copper, magnesium or titanium or their alloys. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of slabs, sheet or strip. ^ 22 cl, 1 dwg |
