<p>The invention relates to a dryer/kiln for gypsum (1), comprising a drying volume (2), a first duct (4), with an inlet connected to a source of hot gas (3) and an outlet opening into the drying volume (2), a second duct (5), with an inlet connected to a source of gypsum (8) and an outlet opening into the firing volume. The second duct is concentric to the first duct with a feed screw (6) arranged at least partially within the second duct, said screw feeding the gypsum to the firing volume.
