<p>A method for producing a bio-fuel, characterized in that it comprises allowing an enzyme to act on an oil and grease being present in a waste clay, to decompose it into a fatty acid, and reacting the resultant fatty acid with a lower alcohol to prepare an ester to be used as a bio-fuel. The method can be employed for producing a bio-fuel, which is friendly to the environment, by a process with a reduced number of steps and without the need for a complicated operation.</p> |
