<p>The invention relates to a medical examination bed. According to the invention, the base (13) of the bed is placed on air cushions (20) in order to allow the easy movement of said examination bed with a nuclear medicine machine comprising an arm. In addition, a parallelogram-shaped structure (30-38) is provided in order to control the effects of raising the base during movement in relation to a guide (17) which is maintained rigidly on the ground, said structure being connected to the base by means of a carriage (28). The aforementioned carriage slides the length of the guide and, in this way, enables the bed to be positioned along the length of said guide. Moreover, the parallelogram-shaped structure allows a movement with a degree of freedom in an orthogonal direction with respect to the direction of said guide without applying force to the connecting system.</p> |
