The apparatus (1) to train or massage the lips (12) of a musician, who plays a musical wind instrument, has a container (5) filled with a liquid (6). A blowing opening (8) is below the liquid level (7), in the working position. A mouthpiece lies tightly against the face, at the mouth area, and the lips are wetted continuously as the musician blows into the liquid. The container has a filling opening, and a bleed (13) for the escape of exhaled air from the blowing actions, with a barrier (14) to prevent escape of the liquid. The mouthpiece has a surface with elastic distortion, and it can be exchanged.
