A bus terminal issuing a ticket and a ticket issuing method using the same are provided to enable passengers to buy tickets through the bus terminal by using the existing traffic cards. A bus terminal(200) issuing a ticket is composed of a residual seat display unit(220) for showing the residual seats of a bus; a fare calculation unit(230) for calculating a fare for the seat chosen by a passenger, by using a traffic card of the passenger; a ticket issuing unit(240) for issuing a ticket for the seat of which a fare is calculated; and a transmitting and receiving unit(210) for receiving information about the residual seats of the bus from a ticket office aggregation system and transmitting information about the seats of which the tickets are issued, to the ticket office aggregation system.
