The climate control system has a fan (1) mounted on a housing (2) upstream of a heater (3) whose heat output is adjusted by a valve (19) controlling the flow of heat. Left and right air guide ducts (4,5) are provided in the vehicle and each side of the heater is a left and right by-pass channel (6,7). Each by pass channel has its own control flap (8,9). The control flaps are in the plane of the heating body and can be adjusted independently of each other.
