<p>The invented knitting method of a knitwear head on a two-cylinder circular knitting machine for manufacture of sock ware is characterized in that first a rubber thread (2) is laid in needles (1) in 1 : 1 distribution and the thread is then kinked. Subsequently at least one non-elastic thread (3) is laid in a border distribution of needles (1) such that one end (K) thereof being held in scissors (5) is kept before cutting so long until it is laid next to the laid rubber thread (2), which is not kinked in the needle (1) border distribution. In the end, all the needles are transferred to a closing position and knitting process continues.</p> |
