Sulphonyl-amino(thio)carbonyl substd. heterocycles (I) and their salts are new: A = single bond; O, S or NR; R = H, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or cycloalkyl; Q = O or S; R1 = H, CHO, or opt. substd. alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkylcarbonyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylsulphonyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylcarbonyl or cycloalkyl-sulphonyl; R2 = CN, halo, or opt. substd. alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkenyloxy or alkynyloxy; R3 = opt. substd. 5-membered heterocyclyl contg. /-1 O, S or N atom and opt. 1-3 additional N atoms; the cpds. 4,5-(dimethoxy or diethoxy)-2-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl -sulphonylaminocarbonyl)- 2,4-dihydro-3H-1,2,4-triazol -3-one and N-(2,5-dimethoxy- phenylsulphonyl)-1,5- dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-3 -carboxamide are excluded. N.B. Cpd. (I) 4,5-dimethoxy-2-(2-methoxy- phenylsulphonyl- aminocarbonyl)-2,4-dihydro-3H- 1,2,4-triazole-3-one is stated in the description to be known. Also claimed are intermediates (IIA, (IVA) and (VIA) provided that R1 = 2-4C alkyl, CF3, fluoroethyl, chloroethyl, difluoroethyl, trifluoroethyl, chlorotrifluoroethyl, methoxyethyl, ethoxyethyl, allyl, propargyl or benzyl; and R2 = 2-4C alkyl.
