<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve higher diagnosing efficiency by the simultaneous display of reference images at the same sites with images of an ultrasonograph. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph has an ultrasonic probe 1 made up of ultrasonic oscillators 10, a transmitting/receiving part 2 which drives the oscillators 10 to transmit or receive ultrasonic waves, a signal processing part 3 and a display part 6 for processing and displaying signals obtained from the transmitting/receiving part 2, a 3D image memory circuit 22 having 3D image data for reference stored, a sensor part 4 mounted on the ultrasonic probe 1 and a 2D image generation control circuit 21 which selectively displays the image data of the 3D image memory circuit 22 based on signals from the sensor part 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
