PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a vehicle to suppress the generation of rasping noise in a frequency band from 900 to 1100 Hz to the utmost without worsening anti-hydroplaning performance. SOLUTION: The tire for a vehicle is featured that by arranging an inside peripheral groove (2) having width narrower in comparison with the width of a peripheral rib (1) arranged at the central part of a tread part, the tread part is partitioned into a tread intermediate region (4) between the inside peripheral groove (2) and the outside peripheral groove (5) and a shoulder region (4) on the outside in an axial direction of the outside peripheral groove (5), an oblique groove (6) curved in the shape of a groove protruding to the inside in the axial direction of a tire and toward the shoulder region (4) and having one end joined with the outside peripheral groove (5) is formed in the tread intermediate region (3). The oblique groove (6) is provided with a shoulder groove continuously extending to the shoulder region (4). The width of the shoulder groove (8) is set to approximately 60-80% of the width of the inside peripheral groove (2) in a region extending from the outside peripheral groove (5) to an ground contacting end.
