PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molded product having a satin-like surface capable of improving a manufacturing efficiency at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the molded product comprises the steps of filling a composition containing a thermoplastic resin and a microballoon inflating agent in a mold, generating a ruggedness on the surface of the composition by the inflation of the agent, thereby obtaining the molded product 3 having the satin-like surface. More particularly, the method further comprises the steps of opening a gap of the mold to the inflating capability or more of the agent at the latest before the surface of the composition filled in the mold is solidified, generating the ruggedness on the surface of the composition by the inflation of the agent, and closing the mold to a thickness of the molded product 3 after the ruggedness is formed on the surface of the composition.
