PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables the easy suppression of a change in die height, dispensing with a sophisticated high-priced thermal displacement compensation device in an electrically-driven survo press and provide the device of the same. SOLUTION: In the thermal displacement avoidance device of the electrically- driven survo press where the rotational power of a survo motor (2) is converted into the reciprocating motion of a slide (4) through a mechanical power transmission means, a partition wall (3) is provided between the survo motor (2) and at least any of the slide (4), a slide position sensor (5), an auxiliary frame (6) and a side frame (7). A suction means (20) for sucking a hot air attributable to the heat generated by the survo motor (2) may be provided above in the vicinity of an output axis of the servo motor (2).
