THREE-DIMENSIONAL COIL FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC WELDING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional coil for an electromagnetic welding machine capable of welding a work having nonplanar shaped welding lines with the electromagnetic welding machine. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional coil for an electromagnetic welding machine is used for the electromagnetic welding machine for welding nonplanar shaped metal thin plates placed in piles between the two coils by making a large current flow to the coils. The three-dimensional coil comprises an upper side coil 11 and a lower side coil 2, making the current-carrying part of the upper coil 15 mounted to the upper side coil 11 and the current-carrying part of the lower coil 6 mounted to the lower side coil 2 into a shape to accommodate the nonplanar shaped welding line. Preferably, an upper coil supporting table 18 and a lower coil supporting table 10 for supporting respective current- carrying parts are integrally fixed with the upper side coil 11 and the lower side coil 2 to the upper coil 15 and the lower coil 6.
