<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum with rust preventiveness, in which a volatile rust inhibitor is vaporized inside a drum cap to eliminate a need of work of fitting a circular packing on the inner circumference of an engaging recession, and the effect of the volatile rust inhibitor enables protection of the drum against rust formation even if the drum is placed outdoors. <P>SOLUTION: The drum has a resin cap seal or a metal cap seal fitted to a ferrule, which has a flange formed on a ceiling plate and a plug fitted to the flange to be fitted and removed freely. On the interior of the cap seal for the drum, an vaporizing means consisting of the volatile rust inhibitor is provided, and vaporization of the volatile rust inhibitor prevents rust formation on the ferrule that is sealed up with the cap seal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
