<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a thin and long folded shape of a curtain air bag for covering a window part of an automobile by enclosing the air bag with a cylindrical enclosure member. <P>SOLUTION: This air bag is provided with an expansion part to expand and develop by inflow of gas and a mounting piece projectingly provided from the expansion part. A sleeve 20 is formed into a cylindrical shape for covering the expansion part of the air bag folded thin and long and is provided with a slit 20a insertable with the mounting piece therein. The outer periphery can be covered with the sleeve 20 and a cylindrical jig 173 insertable with the folded air bag into the inside is used. An outer periphery of the cylindrical jig 173 is covered with the sleeve 20 to be compressed along an axial direction. The air bag folded thin and long is inserted into the cylindrical jig 173. The air bag is drawn from the inside of the cylindrical jig 173, the sleeve 20 is drawn from the outer periphery of the cylindrical jig 173, the positioning of the slit 20a and the mounting piece is performed, and a projectingly provided piece part is drawn from the slit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
