<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of restraining a shooting stop when the upper limit number of the holding number of a variation frequency is satisfied. <P>SOLUTION: This game machine variably displays a variable pattern when a game ball enters a winning hole, holds the effect when the other game ball enters the winning hole when variably displaying this variable pattern, and has restriction on the holding number. When the holding number satisfies the restriction number, the game ball enterable into the winning hole is stored in a game ball storage device (S7).
