PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spool of a spinning reel, capable of easily positioning a sounding mechanism thereon with a structure of low cost a capable of preventing a sound produced by the mechanism from trembling. SOLUTION: This spool 4 of the spinning reel has a disc member 17, a pin member 18, and a compression member 19, wherein the disc member 17 is mounted on a spool supporting part 16 so as not to be rotated, the pin member 18 is mounted on a rear part of a reel drum 7a so as to be relatively rotated to the disc member 17, and the compression member 19 anchors the disc member 17 attached to the rear part of the reel drum 7a to the drum 7a so that the disc member 17 is freely rotated.
