ION-EXCHANGE TYPE LITHIUM ADSORBENT USING UF MEMBRANE FILTER AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

An ion exchange type lithium adsorbent and a method for preparing the same are provided to improve the adsorbing performance of the adsorbent in selective adsorbing of only lithium, thereby efficiently adsorbing and collecting lithium. For preparing an ion exchange type lithium absorbent, firstly, precursor powder is synthesized by using lithium-manganese oxide having a spinel structure. The precursor powder fills a hollow fiber membrane filter. The hollow fiber membrane filter filled with the precursor powder is treated by acid. The precursor powder has a chemical formula represented by Li(n)Mn(2-x)O(4)(in the chemical formula, 1<=n<=1.33, 0<=x<=0.33, n<=1+x).
