<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotifers capable of culturing fishes and shellfishes healthy and in a good productivity while aiming at the reduction of death rate of the fishes and shellfishes, especially of young fishes, increasing their vitality and promoting their growth, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The taurine-enriched rotifers in which the taurine content or the taurine content and water soluble vitamin content in the body of the rotifers is reinforced, are provided. The method for producing the taurine-enriched rotifers is provided by culturing the rotifers by using at least one kind of chlorella, algae, yeast and fish egg powder under the addition of taurine, or taurine and the water soluble vitamin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
