<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument panel for vehicles which is separated from a slit certainly when an air bag is expanded without not disfiguring the instrument panel. <P>SOLUTION: In the instrument panel 10 provided with a core material 11, a foam layer 12 and a skin 13, a high strength layer 14 is arranged between the core material 11 and the foam layer 12. The core material 11 is made of polypropylene with fillers. The high strength layer 14 is made of resin comprising polypropylene and polystyrene mixed at a weight rate of 40:60. In this constitution, the tensile strength of the high strength layer 14 at a high temperature is made stronger than the tensile strength of the core material 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
