PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that since a great number of seedling placing stands for each row are arranged right and left in a seedling planter in the form of planting in a plurality of rows, it is hard to carry out operation for the seedling placing stands. SOLUTION: In the seedling planter of planting in a plurality of rows, having constitution that a body equipped with an operating seat 52 is liftably furnished with a seedling planter body 9 through a link, a plurality of the seedling placing stands 11 arranged right and left are supported on the seedling planter body 9 so as to form interval parts A between the seedling placing stands, seedlings placed on the seedling placing stands 11 are transported to the seedling separation position of a seedling separation apparatus by a feeding apparatus 13 and the seedlings separated by the seedling separation apparatus are planted, steps 51 are supported on a body 7 at the interval parts A of the seedling placing stands 11 when viewed in a plane, the steps 51 are positioned closer to the operating seat 52 side than to the seedling planter body 9 so that the steps are not interfered with the seedling planter body 9 even if it is lifted and lowered and the steps are arranged lower than the top of the seedling placing stands 11 and higher than the seedling separation position.
