SCANNER MODULE AND IMAGE SCANNING APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

A scanner module and an image scanning apparatus using the same are provided to analyze an optical path where a ghost image is generated and intercept optically the optical path where optical beam corresponding to the ghost image proceeds, thereby preventing the ghost image from being imaged fundamentally. A lighting optical system(10) illuminates a target object(5) lying on a cover glass(1). A plurality of reflecting mirrors(20) reflect optical beam reflected from the target object and converts an optical path so as to secure the optical path in a predetermined space. A sensor unit(35) scans information about the target object from the optical beam incident via the plural reflecting mirrors. An imaging lens unit(31) is disposed between the reflecting mirrors and the sensor unit to image the optical beam reflected from the reflecting mirrors on the sensor unit. A ghost image preventing unit(40) is formed in at lest one reflecting mirror of the plural reflecting mirrors to prevent a ghost image from being transferred to the sensor unit.
