PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of restraining a shooting stop when the upper limit number of the holding number of a variation frequency is satisfied.

SOLUTION: This game machine variably displays a variable pattern when a game ball enters a winning hole, holds the effect when the other game ball enters the winning hole when variably displaying this variable pattern, and has restriction on the holding number. The game ball enterable into the winning hole is stored when the holding number satisfies the restriction number. The stored game ball number is detected (S22), and variation display time of the variable pattern is changed on the basis of the detected game ball number (S24).
