<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for separation, recovery and recycling of waste composite members comprising a resin or rubber and a metal of mechanical parts, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the separation method for a composite member, a part or the whole of components constituting the composite member are separated from a the composite member. The method comprises (1) a process of heating the metal part of the member by induction heating, and (2) a process of peel-off separation of the resin or rubber from a metal surface. In the apparatus for treating the composite members used in the above method, there are included an induction heating means equipped with a high frequency coil and a separation means for peel-off separating a resin or rubber from the induction-heated treated member.
