PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove carbon dioxide dissolving in sea water in a fish-culturing aquarium to avoid an inferior mode of life of the cultured fish caused by the carbon dioxide. SOLUTION: This device for removing carbon dioxide consists of a pressure- reducing tank 3 for removing carbon dioxide dissolved in the sea water by utilizing a reduced pressure state, a nozzle 5 installed at the upper part of inside of the pressure-reducing tank 3, an introducing tube 4 becoming a passage for introducing the sea water dissolved with the carbon dioxide in the aquarium 1 for culturing the fish and into the nozzle 5, a vacuum pump 7 for making the pressure-reducing tank 3 as a reduced pressure state, a sucking tube 6 becoming a passage for sucking and discharging the air in the pressure-reducing tank 3, a water-feeding tube 11 of a passage for supplying by circulating the sea water removed with carbon dioxide in the reduced-pressure tank 3 into the fish-culturing aquarium 1 and an oxygen-introducing tube 10 of a passage for supplying oxygen into the sea water removed with carbon dioxide in the pressure-reducing tank.
