PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a certain security measure in removing a paper feeding cassette with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises one or a plurality of attachable/detachable paper feeding cassettes 1, paper feeding means 6 and 7 for feeding a sheet member from the paper feeding cassette 1, and a connector constituted so that attaching or detaching the paper feeding cassette 1 switches between connection and break of a power source route of a clutch 2 for relaying between the paper feeding means 6 and 7 and the driving source. One 42 of a set of connectors 4 is disposed on the body side of the image forming device, and the other 41 is disposed on the paper feeding cassette 1 side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
