The invention relates to novel 5,11-dihydrodi- benzo[b,e][1,4]oxazepine derivatives represented by formula [I]: (see formula I) wherein R1 and R2 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group, a hydroxy group or a C1-C5 alkoxy group, or R1 and R2 together form -O(CH2)n O- in which n is 1, 2 or 3, R3 represents a hydrogen atom or hydroxy group, R4 and R5 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or hydroxy group, or R4 and R5 together form =O group, stereoisomers thereof, pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, and hydrates thereof. The compounds of the invention are useful for treating digestive tract abnormal moving function diseases.
