摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the lubrication performance of a power distribution mechanism provided for a power transmission system. <P>SOLUTION: This lubrication device for a hybrid vehicle is provided with the power distribution mechanism which connects a motor performing braking energy recovery and usage thereof through a gear loosely fitted onto a main shaft and performs disconnection and reconnection between a main shaft and the gear with a clutch mechanism. When running is in a stationary running status where recovery of braking energy by a motor or usage thereof is not performed (S1) and a prescribed period passes after shift to the stationary running status or after the motor operates in the stationary running status (S2), the motor is rotated for a prescribed period (S3). Even if the main shaft and the gear of the power transmission mechanism are in a disconnection status in the stationary running status, the motor operates at every prescribed period, and lubricating oil is agitated and splashed by the gear, thus lubricating the inside of the power transmission mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
