PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive for a hybrid vehicle, capable of making actual power corresponding to the output of a first driving power source compatible with power required by a vehicle. SOLUTION: This drive for the hybrid vehicle includes an output member 32 for transmitting a combination of the power of the first driving source 1 and the power of a second driving power source 2, and a power distribution mechanism 12 which distributes the power of the first driving power source 1 to the output member 32 and a generator 8 and makes a speed change when the power of the first driving power source 1 is transmitted to the output member 32. In this drive for the hybrid vehicle, transmission mechanisms 18, 30, 31, 28 are provided for power transmission paths 14, 18, 30, 29, 31, 28, 27 between the power distribution mechanism 12 and the output member 32.
