PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a brush cooling device in a motor of a power tool and to improve the cooling performance of the device. SOLUTION: The power tool comprises a housing 1 for storing the motor for driving/rotating a blade 3, brushes 7a and 7b elastically abutting to a rectifier 6 of the motor, and brush holders 8a and 8b supporting the brushes 7a and 7b on the housing 1. In addition, attaching holes 9a and 9b going through the housing 1 from the inside through the outside are formed on the housing 1. The brush holders 8a and 8b are inserted into the attaching holes 9a and 9b, and a gap 10 for cooling air to flow is formed between the inner surface of the attaching holes 9a and 9b and the outer surface of the brush holders 8a and 8b respectively.
