PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work feeding method in which the alignment time is considerably shortened, and a work is positioned with high accuracy. SOLUTION: In this work feeding method, the storage of work points is limited to that of three points, the work positions to set the work on a pallet 22 can be respectively determined, and the work set at the work positions on the pallet 22 by a turnable chucking device fitted to a gantry loader 24 can be delivered by the reciprocation in only one axial direction, i.e., the direction of A-axis of a tray chain 23 and the reciprocation in only one axial direction, i.e., the direction of B-axis orthogonal to the direction of A-axis of the gantry loader 24.
