PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for hot extrusion capable of being used in the method for hot extrusion of the steel wherein an expansion of the die is made smaller and a difference of outer diameters at the tip end and back end portion of an article is reduced. SOLUTION: The tool for hot extrusion has a dimensional tolerance which satisfies the tolerances so as to reduce the clearance between tools as an allowance for expansion for the purpose for alleviating the expansion of the die in the tool used in the method for hot extrusion.
