PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for mixing ozone in which the ozone gas of the prescribed concentration can be dissolved in water even when the pressure loss is made small, the liquid/gas ratio is made large and the pressure of the ozone gas is made low and to provide a method for mixing ozone. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for mixing ozone is provided with a chamber 3 having an inflow port 2 of pressurized water, a diffuser part 4 communicating with the chamber 3 and an ozone gas supplying pipe 5 which is inserted into the chamber 3 and opened to an inlet of the part 4. The tip part of the pipe 5 forms a throttling member for throttling the flow passage going to the inlet of the part 4. The ultrapure water of about 0.1 to about 0.3 MPa gauge pressure is made to flow to the port 2 and the ozone gas of about 0.05 to 0.2 MPa gauge pressure is supplied to the pipe 5.
