<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple driving device for a belt coupling device. <P>SOLUTION: In a belt coupling device for a belt part of a safety belt device of a car, a receiving part 20 driven by a drive unit catches a belt or a buckle tongue piece 16 provided on the belt, and is moved to the position suitable for a passenger to grasp it for fitting a safety belt. When the safety belt is attached or detached, the receiving part 20 is returned to a non-operational position, and a drive device of the receiving part 20 comprises a flexible pushing and pulling means 19 which can be wound around a feed roller 17 connected to a rotating device 18.
