PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple structured and highly reliable rear seat for vehicle, which can rotate to a perpendicular position or an inversion position by a simple operation and can utilize the insider of a car cabin in multiple purposes by changing the luggage room space according to the purpose. SOLUTION: Space above a seat cushion 2 or a seat back 4 can be utilized as the luggage room by bringing down the seat back 4 forward with the seat cushion 2 held at its perpendicular position rotated approximately 90 degrees from the position where the seat cushion 2 can be seated around the rotation center arranged near the front section of the seat cushion 2 or the seat cushion 2 held at the inversion position which is rotated 90 degrees further from its perpendicular position.
