PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal thin sheet casting apparatus equipped with a mechanism for adjusting the position and inclination of a tundish relative to a cooling roll. SOLUTION: A cross linear guide 51 in an X and Y directions is set on a partition wall 4 and a jack 61 in a Z direction is set on an elevating base sheet 60 fixed on the cross linear guide 51 to support the tundish support sheet 70 in a freely raising and lowering manner. An annular intermediate member 81 which is in contact with the outer peripheral face of the tundish bottom end part via an O-ring 82a and also in contact with the upper face of the partition wall 4 via an O-ring 82b by being pressed with a pressurizing mechanism 83, is arranged between the outer peripheral face of the tundish 15 bottom end part to be inserted into the insertion hole 6 of the partition wall 4 and the partition wall 4. According to the movement of the tundish 15 as the tundish 15 position and inclination are adjusted, the annular intermediate member 81 is allowed to slide on the partition wall 4 to make adjustment of the position and inclination.
