PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a decorative panel for construction for which the types of coating materials and coating conditions can be easily changed and by which coating can be economically carried out at a high coating efficiency. SOLUTION: An undercoating material is applied to the surface of a construction substrate 2 for forming an undercoating main material layer 41 and a hiding coating is applied to the layer 41 for forming a hiding layer 42, so that an undercoating layer 4 comprising the undercoating main material layer 41 and the hiding layer 42 can be formed.
