PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an impact husking and shaking separator which is improved in separatability and selectability of hulled rice after a husking treatment, can stably separate and select the hulled rice and can be inexpensively provided without upsizing of the apparatus. SOLUTION: A plurality of air inflow ports 27 opening in the form of slits are formed at a separating plate 25 disposed in a winnowing chamber 30 in the impact husking section of the impact husking and shaking separator and further, the air inflow ports 27 are provided with eaves 29. The air flowing into the winnowing chamber 30 flows smoothly from the air inflow ports 27 of the separating plate 25 to winnowing paths 34 and 36 and therefore the degradation in the separatability and selectability of the hulled rice S does not occur. Even more, the hulled rice S (unpolished rice G, unhulled rice M, chaff N, abortive grain T or dust or the like) is accepted by the eaves 29, by which the occurrence of the clogging of the air inflow ports 27 is averted and the stable separation and selection of the hulled rice S is made possible.
