PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko game machine which easily determines whether or not the number of game balls shot into a game area during a prescribed time exceeds a prescribed number, and efficiently performs the determination with precision. SOLUTION: The pachinko game machine includes: a game board; a shooting device for shooting the game balls; a shot ball detecting means for detecting the game balls; a shot ball number counting means for counting the number of the shot game balls; a first clock means for clocking a prescribed first determination time; an abnormality judging means for judging an abnormality when the number of the shot balls in the first determination time is not less than a prescribed number; an abnormality report means for reporting the abnormality when the abnormality judging means judges the abnormality; a shot ball monitor means comprising a third clock means for clocking a time from the point of time when the shot ball detecting means detects the shot ball till a time when the succeeding shot ball is detected; an initializing means for initializing the first clock means and the shot ball number counting means when the time clocked by the third clock means in the shot ball monitor means exceeds a predetermined prescribed time.
